Form A Unit

If you are interested in forming a unit of the United States Cadet Corps, and would like more information, you can download AC Pamphlet 210-1

Congratulations on your desire to form a unit of the United States Army Cadet Corps!  By doing so, you will be providing a challenging and rewarding opportunity for the young people of your community, allowing them to join thousands of young men and women over the past century who have earned the title “Cadet” in our program.

Tracing our heritage to 1909, the United States Army Cadet Corps holds the distinction as our country’s oldest and longest-serving nationwide Cadet organization.  We are proud of our history and look forward to having you join our ranks.  My headquarters staff will endeavor to provide you or your organization with the best possible support as you go about establishing a unit.

Forming a unit is no small task; however, it can be extremely rewarding.  As you read through this pamphlet, please develop a list of questions regarding the formation process.  We will strive to respond to your questions promptly and will share many years of experience with you and your team.

Please be clear from the outset…our standards are high and we take Cadetting to a new dimension.  Our officers and NCOs are expected to carry themselves with an extremely high level of professionalism, allowing our cadre to be well accepted by our active duty, Army Reserve and National Guard counterparts.

Again, thank you for your interest in forming a unit of the United States Army Cadet Corps.  We are excited about our future and look forward to working with you.

Hooah!
